In the automotive sector, safety is paramount. That’s why specific climatic tests are necessary for airbag deployment, recreating real-world cold, heat, and humidity conditions before a vehicle hits the road. These tests verify that the sensors, inflators, and fabrics react correctly in any environment, guaranteeing precise and reliable deployment when it matters most.
The CCK-40/7866 model is a welded chamber that allows for thermal testing in a temperature range from -40°C to +120°C, as well as conditioning samples under climatic conditions with controlled relative humidity. Airbag deployment can take place inside or outside the chamber, as the chamber is designed to be compatible with a sample extraction/insertion system. All of this is controlled by the advanced microprocessor and remote control software.
