Thermal shock chambers are essential for testing the thermal fatigue of samples, simulating sudden changes from cold to hot temperatures in a very short period of time in order to evaluate resistance, weak points and possible subsequent failures during use. Method 503.7 of the MIL-STD 810 standard establishes the environmental conditions necessary to perform this thermal shock test according to the type of sample to be tested.
The CRT2V-70/540T chamber has been developed to comply with the MIL-STD standard according to method 503.7. With a useful basket capacity of 540 litres, it allows for the testing of both small and medium-sized parts, performing the shock between -70ºC and +250ºC in less than 10 seconds.
At DYCOMETAL, we offer tailor-made solutions designed to meet the specific needs of each sector.
