The tests under corrosive atmosphere are conceived to study the behavior of different materials and equipments that are subjected to the influence of atmospheres with a high saline contents as for example, the ones wich are close to the sea, deserts, industrial centers, etc.

Following these tests, it is possible to know the effect that the corrosion, wich is the main consequence of an attack under salty atmosphere, could cause  in time to the materials and affected equipments. Therefore, this will allow to know better the way to extend their useful life and functioning making them more resisting and stable to the corrosive attack.
